In January 2025, U.S. stock markets experienced notable gains, driven by investor optimism and strong earnings reports. The Dow Jones Industrial Average led with a 4.7% increase, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite rose by 2.7% and 1.6%, respectively. The rally was broad-based, with sectors such as healthcare, financials, and consumer staples showing significant strength. Notably, the Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF outperformed, indicating that gains were not limited to major tech companies. This strong performance was driven by a combination of successful options and share trades, with 12 wins and 8 losses, demonstrating an effective trading approach despite some inevitable setbacks. Key winning trades included IBM (Bull Call, 102% return), NFLX (Bear Put, 75.56% return), and WMT (Bull Call, 56.35% return). While losses occurred, notably in LLY, AVGO, and AMD due to directional stock movements or early trade closures, the overall gains significantly outweighed these losses, resulting in a substantial net profit for the month
